Every call.
Captured and filed.
Northlight Meetings is a Windows desktop app that records client calls, transcribes them with Groq Whisper, and uses Llama to extract meeting notes, action items, and key dates — then pushes everything automatically to Google Drive, ClickUp, and Google Calendar.
The problem
Client calls are where the work actually happens — but the output is invisible. Notes are scribbled and lost. Action items get forgotten. Dates discussed in calls never make it to the calendar. The time between a call ending and a clean set of notes appearing in Drive could be an hour — or never.
Off-the-shelf transcription tools produce walls of text, not structured outputs. And none of them push to ClickUp, Drive, and Calendar in one step. Northlight Meetings does all of it automatically, the moment the call ends.
Key workflows
01
Record the Call
Captures both sides of a call simultaneously — your microphone and the system audio (via VB-Audio Cable) — with a single button. Supports two modes: Client Meeting and Proposal, each using a different output template.
02
Transcribe & Analyse
After stopping, Groq Whisper transcribes the full recording in seconds. Groq Llama then runs analysis — extracting structured meeting notes, action items, and key dates from the raw transcript.
03
Push to Google Drive
Review the analysis, then push with one click. Meetings creates a formatted Google Doc from the appropriate template — replacing placeholders with real content from the session — and saves it to the designated Drive folder.
04
Push to ClickUp & Calendar
Action items become tasks in the client ClickUp list. Extracted dates become Google Calendar events. All three outputs are pushed in a single approved action — Drive, ClickUp, and Calendar together.
05 · The differentiator
Discovery Call → Client Proposal
Record a discovery or scoping call in Proposal mode. The AI extracts scope, deliverables, timelines, and key points from the conversation — then populates the proposal template directly. A formatted, client-ready Google Doc lands in Drive before you've closed the call window. No other transcription tool does this.
