Who we help

The Self-Reliant Builder

For the founder who decides alone, and wants a second pair of eyes.

It's past midnight, and your project proposal is due tomorrow. You're staring at the quote again, for the third time, or the fifth. Something about it looks too low, and you can't tell whether it's the number, the hours, or the terms: whether the contract protects you from scope creep, or only looks like it does. You've already talked it through out loud, with yourself, twice. You built this business by deciding things alone, and most of the time it works.

"I need more information" has already bought you another week. There is no one with the standing to say that the price is too low, or that the terms leave the door open, before the proposal goes out. You don't need someone to take the wheel. You need someone to bounce it off, someone who will give you the truth in time. Sound familiar?

What happens if nothing changes?

Keep deciding alone, and the cost shows up as a $3,000 quote that quietly becomes a $10,000 job you're still doing for $3,000. It shows up as "I need more information" buying you another week, then another, and as the family dinners you missed over a decision that needed an outside eye and not more solo hours.

What could get better?

Picture the next time the price feels too low, and someone says so before you send the quote. The next time you're about to put off a decision "for more information," and someone calls it what it is.

You're still the one who decides. You're just not the only one checking your own work.

Who will I be working with?

I'm Elizabeth Lemoine. I've built things myself, made the underpriced-quote mistake myself, and learned the same way you're learning: the hard way, alone, until someone finally said the thing out loud. My job is to push back before the decision ships, not after.

What does working together look like?

Working together starts with a free 30-minute Coffee Chat, then a longer conversation about where things stand and a plan we both agree on, and then On-Call Advisory: up to 5 hours a month of one-to-one access whenever you want a second opinion.

This works in three steps, and the order matters, because each one earns the trust the next one needs. You'll know how it works before we start, and we can adjust it as we go.

Step 1

A 30-minute Coffee Chat, free

We get to know each other. You tell me what you're building and where you're stuck, and we both find out whether your work and my experience line up enough for you to be confident in what happens next. I take notes, or record the call if you agree.

Step 2

A needs conversation and a briefing

If it feels like a fit, we book a second, longer conversation. This is the info dump: where things stand, and what you need me to know. We also agree how you'll reach me, how quickly I respond, and what a good month looks like. Nothing starts until you're satisfied.

Step 3

On-Call Advisory, up to 5 hours a month

From then on, you bring me the decision before it ships: the pricing call, the hire, the bet. We pressure-test it together, from outside your own head. You still decide. If a month needs more than five hours, more time is available.

No. If it feels like a fit for both of us, we book a second, longer conversation. Nothing starts until you're satisfied.
One-to-one access to an experienced second opinion, for up to 5 hours a month. You bring me a decision before it ships, such as a price, a hire or a bet, and we pressure-test it together. You stay the one who decides.
It's a flat monthly rate for up to five hours of one-to-one access. If a month needs more than five hours, more time is available at a higher cost. We talk about the rate once we've agreed how we'll work, and nothing starts until you're satisfied.
No. You make the decisions. My role is to catch what is hard to see from inside your own business, and to say it before the decision is final.
Embedded Advisory is about 20 hours a month, with me working inside your company alongside you and your team. On-Call Advisory is up to 5 hours a month of one-to-one access, mostly for decisions. The Coffee Chat is how we find which one fits. See how we work together.
